NaComLeavMo

Well, so far, not off to a great start with NaComLeavMo. I tried to make up for lost time yesterday, since we just got back from a weekend without internet access. So today I have to leave LOTS of comments, to correct the deficit. Plus, I am going to be gone, AGAIN, this weekend. So I have to build up a store of comments to make up for the time I'll be away. Hmm. Oh well.

This is a very short work week, I had yesterday off for the holiday, and we are leaving straight after work tomorrow to go to Omaha for my Sister-In-Law's wedding. So basically, I get to go home tonight, unpack my suitcase, and repack it with new things. Since we just got home from a six day trip last night, I don't really want to spend my evening packing. I would just like to relax a little.

In the biting world, Little Man has not bitten anyone in the past few weeks. So yay! Thanks for all the support ladies! His ear infection is also cleared up, and he has been sleeping through the night for almost two weeks, with just a few nights of waking. (Like last night, but I don't blame him, he spent the whole day in the car!) Yay to sleep!

Since you are a QCitian....our Stitch and Bitch meets at the Bettendorf library every wed night in the coffee shop. I guarantee we'd be able to help! Stop in and we'll fix that dishcloth right up.

Thanks for the comment on my blog!

I'm secretly a bit jealous of your short week -- I have no desire to be at my job this week. Have fun at the wedding! As for the biting, I'm glad there haven't been any recent incidents. My littlest cousin was a biter until he was 3, which caused my aunt and uncle an enormous amount of angst. That said, he's now 12 and perfectly normal. His daycare seemed very worried, but he grew out of it.

Here from NaComLeavMo. We had biting issues with my now 4-year-old when he was about 2 1/2. It eventually resolved itself but I have to be honest, I don't know that anything we did got him to stop biting. He just stopped one day. I hope that yours keeps not biting!

I'm getting a bit overwhelmed with the NCLM thing too!! Here's hoping I last through the month! I don't know what I'm going to do when we leave in June!

You son is adorable! My youngest just turned a year too - May 3rd! I missed the first day too and I am trying to make up for it. I am going for commenting on all the blogs once a week! It is much harder than I thought!

My kiddo is still biting. I think he is a happy biter. Honestly, he seems to go in for a nibble when he is feeling happy and content.

I tagged you for a meme that you are probably way to busy to do!

Man, you are a world traveler! Good luck with the packing and repacking. So glad that your little one is refraining from biting. Hope he grows out of that phase soon. :)

Here from NCLM. So glad your little guy got over the biting; I've had several very young friends who started and then just as suddenly stopped.

Have a great time away this weekend!

Hi. I'm over from NCLM. That is a heck of a lot of traveling all in one fell swoop. Good luck with the biting.

Returning your NaComLeavMo! What a sweet little boy. Glad the biting and ear infection have both cleared up.

I've been to the Quad Cities once. My friend used to be a roving reporter on one of the TV stations there, in 2002-2003. It was lovely! :)

I usually have short blog posts... :)

I also got off to a bad start, I totally forgot the first day and had to comment like mad on the 2nd day. Now I'm trying to get them out of the way early. Then I get too engrossed and it's just a vicious cycle!

Good luck w/ all the commenting.

I'm not doing so well with NaComLeavMo either. I moved this week and didn't have internet for a few days so that had a lot to do with it. I'm trying to play catch up now. Thanks for leaving a comment on my blog. :)
