So this week has been really rough. One of our cats (Max) got out of the house on Saturday, and still has not returned home. I never thought that losing a pet could be so traumatic. I don't really know what you can do to find a lost cat. We have checked at our local humane society, put up a poster there so that if anyone brings in our cat, they will know it is her and can call us. It's been five days, how long will I have to live in hope that she will be back? I guess we will find out.

So it is almost Christmas, and the time of hurry up and get there. Sometimes I wish that we lived closer to our families, but then I think that the time we spend together would be less special. Oh well. I'm excited, we are flying home Saturday to spend the holiday with my family, mainly because my brother and his wife just had a baby and I get to see her! Yay!
